The circumstances of a tragic accident at a car race are being investigated by the Ózd Police Department.
The Ózd Police Department is conducting proceedings for the offense of negligently causing a fatal road accident. Based on primary data, a 36-year-old spectator from Ózd was hit by a racing car as a result of an accident that took place on October 8th, 2022 at around 19:00 on the outskirts of Királd – on a road section closed to public traffic. The man suffered such serious injuries that he died on the spot. The police are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident with the involvement of experts – the Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County Police Headquarters reported.
